Goodbye Cash

I was looking for a topic to write about and found this amazing Website that show you the latest inventions in many fields like medical, electronics, computers and many more. The invention that grabbed my attention was The Square. It is a small device that you plug into your iphone, ipad, ipod, and you can swipe a debit or credit card through the Square to charge people money.
The Square is a new way to eliminate the use of paper money, and become Eco-friendly. The inventor of the Square is the co-inventor of Twitter Jack Dorsey. With this invention less people will carry cash with them, therefore less robbery will take place, and even if a thief made you swipe your credit card, you can cancel the payment in 24 hours.
I think the only objection, will be why is it an I-device? I think the answer to that is that Apple products are safe, and it is very hard(or impossible)  to hack or put a virus on an Apple product if it wasn't Jailbroken. In the future, this device might be used on phones and tablets other than Apple's devices, but I do not believe it will be as secure as it would be on an Apple.

  2. It's nice to see people use it. I haven't seen 1 yet, actually I learned about it 3 days ago. I found out that it was invented in 2009 and the ones that are using it the most are small-scale entrepreneurs—yoga instructors, piano teachers, food-truck chefs and others.

  3. I haven`t seen one yet, I don`t know if it is reliable, it could be a huge help for self-employed workers, like taxi drivers, or massage therapists, most of the people today prefer the credit card over the cash as a form of payment, so I think it could be useful.

  4. This little device sounds fast, and convenient but what I would worry about, is if it is reliable. This only shows how technology is developing at a more faster rate than we would have never imagined.
